Urgent Core Bit Delivery to the North Pole

A contractor was revelry challenged with the task of drilling a 16" diameter hole in the digester of a treatment plant in the North Pole, Alaska. The contractor desperately need the core bit over the weekend so that they could do the critical modification during an emergency weekend shutdown of the treatment plant. The Job Required drilling a 16" hole in heavily reinforced concrete.

K2 received the request for a bit at 2:30pm on a Friday afternoon and took on the task of manufacturing this emergency 16" core bit order for same day delivery to the North Pole. We manufactured our newest line of " MATRIX TECHNOLOGYâ„¢" Razor segment bits and got it delivered "counter to counter" on an Alaska Airlines flight by 7:30pm that same night. The Contractor received the bit at the Fairbanks international airport by 9am the next morning.

Not only was the contractor amazed at how fast we were able to manufacture and deliver a core bit of that caliber on such short notice (less than 24hrs) but he was very impressed with the fantastic job the bit did in cutting the reinforced concrete. This was the first product that the contractor had purchased from K2, but he stressed that he would be buying many more for K2 for future projects.

In addition to manufacturing top-grade concrete cutting products, K2 DIAMOND prides itself in delivering excellent service for the professional cutting contractor.
